[REUTERS TELEGRAMS.] By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright. STEAMSHIP MOVEMENTS. NEW SOUTH WALES PARLIAMENT. FEDERATION ENABLING BILL. (Received July 16, 11 p.m.) Sydney, July 16. The Pacific Mail Company’s Royal Mail steamship Zealandia sailed this afternoon for Auckland, with the homeward ’Frisco mails.
The Union Company’s steamship Taupo left Newcastle to-day for New Zealand. The New South Wales Parliament meets for the transaction of business on September 8. The Premier, Sir Alex. Stuart, has forwarded a telegram to Sir Saul Samuel, Agent-General for the Colony, informing him that the Federation Enabling Bill will not be acceptable to New South Wales, if clause 31 be omitted, and it is even questionable if the bill will be adopted if the danse is retained. (Received July 17, 1.55 a.m.) Albany, July 16. The P. and O. steamship Paramatta, with London mails"to June 12th, arrived at King George’s Sound last night.
