[REUTERS TELEGRAMS.] By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright. THE MURDER in PARRAMATTA GAOL. PRAYING FOR COMMUTATION OF CAPITAL SENTENCE. (Received July 13, 1.10 a.m.) Sydney, July 11. A procession numbering fully 5000 proceeded to Government House to-day, and presentpd a petition to his Excellency, signed by over 20,000 persons, praying for commutation of the capital sentence passed upon the prisoner Frank Johns, condemned to death for the murder of a fellow prisoner in Parraraatta Gaol.
