THE FAUST FAMILY.

This wonderful family of acrobats made their appearance afc the Theatre Royal last night, and fully sustained the high reputation which has been accorded them in this and other journals. Thpir performances are marvelous and astounding. The comic horizontal bar feats by the clowns Ted and Robert were very amusing, as were also the acrobatic performances whilst playing violins. The national dances by Master Eugene were much appreciated. The representations of ancient and modern statuary by the whole family were grand, and must be seen to be appreciated. The Risley performances, introducing single and double somersaults and then balancing on one foot in mid-air, were marvelous feats, and have never before been attempted here. Beautiful selections were given on the silver-toned hand-bells by Ted, Robert, and Eugene. Twice Mr C. Wand gave a violincello solo, executing both pieces with much taste and skill. A laughable pantomine sketch entitled "The Terrible Infants," nr "The Tioubles of a Schoolmaster," in which Ted, Robert, and Eugene played some popular selections on common wood, brought the entertainment to a close. Those who wish to see what wonderful feats it is possible for humanity to accomplish, or who want a genuine hearty laugh, should not fail to visit the Faust Family to-night. To-morrow afternoon there will be a matinee for children, at the small charge of 6d. Doors open afc half-past two o'clock.
