(Received July 2, 10.30 p.m.) Sydney, July 2. Sailed, to-day, the Triumph for New Zealand. In the Supreme Court to-day, the action Adams v. the Commissioner of Railways, in which the plaintiff claims compensation for injuries received at the Cootamundra railway accident in January last, was concluded to-day after a protracted hearing extending over three weeks. The jury returned a verdict for the defendant. (Received June 3, 1.5 p.m.) Hobart, July 3. The New Zealand Shipping Company's steamship Rimutaka arrived this morning. She sails for New Zealand at midnight. Melbourne, July 2. Arrived, this morning, the Union Company's steamship Manapouri, from the Bluff. ♦
