[united press ASSOCIATION.-] Nelson, June 3. John M‘Leary was to-day sentenced to six months’ hard labour for stealing £42 from Mr Alex. M'Gregor, a commercial traveller. Frederick Ransonie Seaborn, an exGovernment Insurance agent, was arrested on a charge of embezzling some £2O belonging to the Association, and has been sent to Hokitika, where the warrant was issued.
