[REUTERS TELEGRAMS.] By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright. ♦— THE SIMPSON’S ROAD NATIONAL BANK ROBBERY. EXAMINATION AND REMAND OF ALL THE PRISONERS. DISCOYERY OP SOME OF THE STOLEN NOTES AND SILVER. (Received June 9, 12.50 p.m.) Melbourne, June 9. The examination of the prisoners in custody for the Simpsou Road National Bank robbery was concluded yesterday, when the whole number were remanded, bail being refused. The police have been taking active steps to prevent the disposal of the plunder by confederates. Four of the prisoners have been indenlified by witnesses as the same who were seen to leave the bank, drive off in a cart and subsequently enter Studley Park. A further search iu the Park yesterday resulted in the discovery of £2OO in National Bank notes, and a bag of silver buried in the ground.
