SOUTH AUSTRALIAN WHEAT PRODUCE. (Received May 21, 10 p.m.) Sydney, May 21. The Union Company's s.s. Wakatipu sailed for Wellington this afternoon. The Pacific Mail Company's Royal Mail steamship City of Sydney sailed this afternoon with Homeward San Francisco mails. She has on board £57,000 of specie. The drought still continues and great inconvenience is experienced in consequence of the scarcity of water in the country districts. Rain is badly needed. (Received May 22, 12.50 p.m.) Melbourne, May 22. The Messageries steamship Yarra, which has arrived here, brings news of a severe cyclone which occurred at Madagascar on the 25th February last. Great damage was done to the shipping. No less than twelve vessels have bee*n destroyed. Adelaide, May 22. The final agricultural statistics for the past, season have been issued by the Government. They show the total yield of wheat in South Australia have been 14,600,000 bushels, an average 7-32 bushels per aero. 902,000 bushels have already been exported from the colony, and the quantity ayailable is 50,000 tons, of which about half is for shipping.
