Auckland, May 11. Thomas M'Farlane died at the hospital yesterday afternoon. He was 74 years of age, and had been 29 years in the colony. Maxwell charged with the St. Louis murder, was remanded till Saturday, but further remands will be asked for till arrival of the incoming mail steamer.
