The American Indians are joining the rebel Riel in the revolt amongst the ludian half-breds iu North-west Canada. Pending the result of the parleying on the question, the Canadian Government have despatched 7000 men to the scene. Lloyd's Australian war risk has increased 5s per cent. Captain Allison proceeds to Sydney as aide-de-camp to Lord Carrington, the uew Governor of New South Wales, and the Hon. Josceliue Amherst, a barrister, will be Private Secretary to his Excellency.
