Intelligence from Coonamble states that the two men Angel and Thurstone, who escaped from Coonamble Gaol on the 12th March, and who have been at large since, attacked a storekeeper named Stewart yesterday and shot him dead. The police shortly appeared on the scene, and, after exchanging shots, wounded Angel mortally, and shot Thurstone dead. (Received April 13, 12.10 p.m.) April 13.
