[united press association.] Wanganui, March 23. It is probable that the Governor and the Hon, Ballance will leave to-morrow by the Hinemoa for Lyttelton. The Minister for Public Works will probably leave overland for Napier this evening. Nelson, April 6. About 5000 attended the review and sham fight to-day, in which a thousand Volunteers took part. The whole affair was a grand success, and no accident except to trooper P. Bryce of the Alexandria cavalry, Wanganui, whose girths breaking caused him to come a cropper, but he was not seriously hurt.
