A Volunteer encampment is being held in this city and all other colonies during the Easter holidays. The proceedings here will include mimic action between Victorian warships and shore batteries at Queenscliff. (Received April 7, 2.10 p.m.) April 7. An extensive fire occurred at Sharp’s timber yard, on Sandridge road; the damage resulting is estimated at £150,000.
