BOMBARDMENT OF OHANGHAI [] OHIN-HAI.] BLOCKADE OF APPROACHES TO A TREATY PORT. (Received March 3, 9.40 a.m.) London, March 2. The evidence which has been given at the hearing of the charges against Cunningham and Burton, the suspected dynamiters, connects the prisoners with complicity in the attempted outrages at a London railway terminus last year. The cargo of mutton, comprising 14,000 carcases ex steamship Tongariro from New Zealand, was placed on the market in good condition. (Received March 4, 11.40 a.m.) March 3. In the House of Lords to-day, ihe Duke of Cambridge made a statement to the effect that the acceptance by the Imperial Government of all the Colonial offers of troops for Sondan would be absolute in case the services of the men were found to be required. The military authorities, he added, were now only discussing the necessary details, and it was unlikely there would be any great delay in deciding definitely as to the acceptance of offers from the colonies.
(Received March 3, 9.40 p.m.) Hong-Kong, March 2. News has reached here that the French fleet is engaged in bombarding Ohanghai [? Chin-hai], and has blockaded the approaches to NiDgpo, one of the treaty ports.
