The sculling match Beach v, Clifford resulted in a victory for Beach. (Received March 2, 12,40 p.m.) March 2. Beach won the sculling match very easily. He led all the way, and was two lengths ahead at the finish. Little interest was taken in the event. The attendance of spectators was miserable. (Received March 2, 12.40 p.m.) Sydney, March 2. Arrived, last evening, the steamship Tekapo from Wellington. A review of the Soudan Contingent was held in Moor Park on Saturday. Fully 50,000 persons witnessed the Volunteers. Special services were held in most of the city churches yesterday, in connection with the despatch of troops.
