SYDNEY GOVERNMENT ACCOUNT. SMALL-POX IN VICTORIA. (Received January 7, 1.15 p.m.) Sydney, January 7. In consequence of a disagreement over floating the last loan, the Government's account is withdrawn from the Bank of New South Wales, and dis tributed among the nine Associated Banks. Melbourne, January 7. A case of small-pox has occurred at Castlemaine, 77 miles to the north-west of this city.
