The following is the latest betting on the Cup :—Malua 10 to 1 ; Corn--motion, 14 to 1 ; Guesswork, 33 to 1. (Received October 31, 3.30 p.m.) Noon. The following twelve horses remain in for the Derby:—Hippogriff, David, Seahorse, Mozart, Leporello, Blucher, Ruins, Merrin, Bargo, Tremando, Gratitude, and Sandal. (Received October 30, 10.10 p.m.) Sydney, October 30. Arrived, yesterday afternoon, the Wakatipu, from Wellington. Sailed, this afternoon, the Te Anau, for Anckland. Parliament is now discussing the
Syduey Convention resolutions, and it is expected the prorogation will take place this week. (Received October 31, 1.20 a.m.) October 30. The Convention resolutions were under discussion in the Legislative Council to-night, and were passed by 13 votes to 9. The resolutions are now under discussion in the Legislative Assembly.
