[REUTERS TELEGRAMS.] By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright. >—< INWARD BRINDISI AND SUEZ MAILS. EXPLOSION NEAR FOOTSCRAY.— TWO WORKMEN INJURED. (Received October 21, 1.5 a.m.) Albany, October 20. The P. and O. steamship Carthage, with the Brindisi mails, dated Loudon, September 19, arrived at King George’s Sound this afternoon. (Received October 21, 2.40 p.m.) Melbourne, October 20. An .explosion has occurred at the Lithofracteur Company’s works, near Footscray. The buildings are completely wrecked, and two workmen are severely injured.
