MORE RAILWAYS FOR VICTORIA. (Received October 7,10.10 p.m.) Sydney, October 7. Sailed, this evening, the Union steamship Wakatipu, for Wellington. Tawhaio and other Maori chiefs are among the passengers. The Hon. A. Stuart, Premier, is suffering from an aitack of paralysis, and his state of health is considered serious. A Gazette notice ia published declaring Sydney to be a clean port, the last case of small-pox having terminated twenty-one days ago. (Received October 8,12.20 p.m.) October 8. Mr Stuart, Premier, when attacked with paralysis, was at the Government Offices, where he now remains. He passed a quiet night, and is reported to be better this morning. October 7, 10.10 p.m.) Albany, October 7. Arrived, at King George's Sound, this morning, the P. and O. steamship Parramatta, with the inward Brindisi mails, dated London, September 5. (Received October 8, 1 p.m.) Melbourne, October 8. A Government bill is infroduceed in the Legislative Assembly providing for the construction of 817 miles of railway.
