London, August 19. A Nihilist outrage has been reported from Kasan, a town situated on the river Kasanka, 450 miles east of Moscow. One of the magazines situated a short distance from the town was exploded, killing 100 persons. Five officers in the employment of the Government of Kasan were also killed. August 20. The health of Her Majesty the Queen is such that she requires repose, and in consequence of this Her Majesty has declined to see King Tawhaio and the members of the Maori embassy.
