KUMARA HOSPITAL.

A meeting of the Hospital Committee was held in the Town Hall on the sth inst. ; present—Mr W. Nicholson (in the chair), Messrs Burger, Ziegler, Hope, Campbell, Hannah, and Watson. The minutes of the previous meeting were read and confirmed. The Wardsraan’s Report for the month of July was read and received. It showed that the total number of inpatients treated was seven only, of whom three were discharged cared or convalescent, leaving four still in the Hospital at the end of the month. Louis Lousich was discharged convalescent, and J. Stanich and T. Levitt were discharged cured. Those who remained were—Frederick Andrews, a boy who has a diseased bone in his right leg; A, Carlstrom, paraplegia; Jas. Kerr, compound fracture of thumb; and John Dixon, sciatica. The outward correspondence was approved of, and the inward read and received. The Secretary was instructed to draw the Wardsman’s attention to the register sent by Government.
