William Poppens, of Wellington, the absconding hotelkeeper, has been arrested here. Two prisoners charged with robbing the Bank at Beaconsfield have been discharged. Four others have been admitted to bail. (Received August 8, 8.15 p.m.) Adelaide, August 8. Arrived, this afternoon, the Messageries Mari times Company’s steamship Yarra, from Marseilles.
