GENERAL ASSEMBLY NOMINATIONS.
The nominations of candidates to seive as members in the House of Representatives for the various electoral districts in NW Zealand (except, Auckland and Wellington, which will be published to-morrow) were as follow. Where telegraphed, the show of hands is given. In most cases the candidate whose name appears first opposite the electoral district was in most favour at the nomination. Of course only one member is required for each district. Where there is only one name attached to an electoral district, the candidate is returned unopposed. Westland. Hokitika ... ...
