The Egyptian Conference continued their deliberations to-day. Edgar Vincent, Financial Adviser to the Khedive, recommended that the .taxes now levied in Egypt should be largely reduced. (Received July 4, 1.15 a.m.) July 3. The cargo of frozen mutton ex steamship Liguria, comprising 5459 carcases, from Melbourne and Sydney, has been sold at 5d per fi>. The meat is in good condition. (Received July 3, 10 p.m.) Cairo, July 3. The reported resignation of Nubar Pasha, President of the Egyptian Council of Ministers, is'authoritatively denied, (Received June 4, 1.15 a.m.) Evening. Reports have reached here from Assouan that the town of Dibbah has been attacked and captured by Arab rebels, and that all the garrison were massacred. It is stated that the Arabs numbered 12,000 men. (Received July 3, 10 p.m.) Paris, July 2. No fresh outbreak of cholera has occurred, aud it is believed that the precautions which have been taken will prevent the further spread of the disease. Several deaths, however, are reported daily at Toulon and Marseilles. (Received July 4, 1.15 a.m.) Evening. The French Government has demanded from China an indemnity of twenty millions sterling on account of the recent action of Chinese troops in opposing by force of arms the occupation of Langson by the French forces. St. Petersburg, July 2. The death is announced of General Francis Edward Todleben, the celebrated Russian military engineer.
