KUMARA SLUDGE CHANNEL AND WATER QUESTIONS.
STAFFORD AND GOLDSBOROUGH COURTS, CLOSE OF THE EIGHTH NEW ZEALAND PARLIAMENT. [By Telegraph] [From our own Correspondent.] Wellington, June 21. A final meeting with the Minister of Mines re Kumara sludge-channel regulations and the reduction in price of water has been arranged for Monday next. The clerk of the Kumara Court is to attend the Goldsborough Court once a week. Seddon is trying to get the consent of the Minister of Justice to allow Constable Hannan to act as clerk for both Goldsborough and Stafford Courts. The Courts will not be altogether closed, as first ordered. The House met at eleven o’clock today, and is discussing the Financial Statement.
Government announced that the southern members would be able to leave by steamer on Tuesday next.
