Auckland, May 30. A boy named Arnold Gaddy, aged 13, has died at the Kohimaramara Training School under mysterious circumstances, supposed through poisoning, The boy while ill, refused to give the master of the Home any explanation.

A case of bigamy comes before the Police Court, in which Edith Ellen Norman is charged with marrying Wm. Brinsden, painter and decorator, her husband Robert Dunn being still alive. Dunn has just arrived in Auckland by the schooner Borealias, and the case excites much interest as the parties are well known here.

Wellington, May 30. A serious accident occurred on the Wellington-Manawatu railway works at Parramatta this morning. A blast had been prepared, and not going off, Richard Dumey and Robert Jenkins went to examine it, when it suddenly exploded. Both men were seriously burnt. They were removed to the hospital.
