Grand Champion Challenge Cup.—Open to all persons who march in procession in uniform or in regalia. Entrance, Is. Either the Cup or the competitors did not arrive, so the value of the Cup was saved to the Hospital fund. As soon as the list is prepared we intend to notice some of the contributions given in aid of the Hospital F6te, and the names of those who so materially assisted to make the festival a success. In noticing the arrival in town of the procession from Dillman’s on Easter Monday, we inadvertently omitted to mention that besides nearly the full Company of Volunteers, and nearly all the Ancient Order of Foresters there were also a goodly number of the Independent Order of Oddfellows. The weather, which on Sunday night and Monday morning looked gloomy and threatening for rain, kept fine during the whole of the two days ; so that it seemed as if a Beneficent Providence had also smiled upon the undertaking.
