This was a gift to Lady Harris, who was full of running as compared with her condition yesterday. Shs surprised everybody by the way she ran and showed that the handicappers were quite deceived as to her capabilities. She won a very nice race, beating Sincerity by six or seven lengths. Maggie was clean out of it, and Happy Jack was not much better. It was a good race. Playboy was scratched. Time, 2mins. 52secs. Totalisator, .£348; dividend, £3l. This was practically a walk over for Lady Harris, Heketeraraea fell, and Happy Jack followed suit, and of course there was no show for them. This concluded the meeting, which was the best, taken from any point of view, that has been seen at Grey mouth for years.
