Dr. King, superintendent of Mount View, having accepted an appointment at Hokitika, and Dr, Gillon, who has been acting as visiting superintendent for some time, being unable to continue owing to the demands of private practice, the appointment has been conferred on Dr. Levinge, late surgeon of the steamer Doric.
