Gordon (Inspector of Mines) into the management and working of the Kumara sludge, channel, it was requested that the Manager (Mr Gow) should produce some statement showing the expenditure and receipts in connection with the working of the channel. The Manager, in reply to the Warden, said he saw no objection to such a statement being published, and promised te prepare one. We are indebted to Warden Giles for a copy of it last night; and now present it to the public for perusal : Expenditure and Receipts from SludgeChannel since first Charges were made for Use of same.
