The following are the names of the winners:— Vol. Smith, first prize, silver medal, valued at ... ... £3 15 0 Vol. Sampson, second prize, entrance money ... ... 110 0 Vol. Ellery, third prive, sums received for sighting shots. Appended are the names of all those who won the medal in the eighteen competitions :

In taking the average the shooting has been very good right through. But the pointsmen, i.e., those who have received points, have had the best of the handicap, as may be instanced from the fact of Vol. Sampson, a scratch man, having been beaten two or three times when he had obtained the excellent scores of 54 and 55 out of a possible 60.
