VOLUNTEER FIRE BRIGADE.
A special meeting of the Kutnara Volunteer Fire Brigade was held in the Town Hall on Wednesday evening ; for the purpose of considering the question of a suitable site for the Brigade station. There were present—Captain Dove, Foreman M‘Ewen, Deputy-Fore-man Williams, Foreman Brayshaw, Treasurer Burger, Secretary Close, Firemen Grains, Valentine, Ziegler, Nichol, Greenwood, Sumsion, and Waters. Captain Dove, and Firemen Ziegler, Valentine, and Grams were appointed. The other part of the business was not of general interest.
