(Received January 2, 1.5 a. m.) Melbourne, January 1. The Victorian revenue for the quarter ended December 31sb amounted to £1,470,000, being an increase of £23,000 as compared with the corresponding quarter of last year. During the same period the revenue from Customs decreased £7400, that from Land increased £3300, and that from Railways increased £64,000. The receipts from Excise decreased £9OOO and territorial revenue £SBOO. The Australasian agricultural reporter estimates the yield of wheat for the present seasou in Victoria at 15,000,000 bushels, being an average rate of about 14£ bushels to the acre. The area under crop is 1,010,000 acres, and the surplus available for export is estimated at 8,400,000 bushels. (Received January 3, 1.10 a.m.) January 2. The cricket match between the Australian team and the combined eleven of Australia was resumed to-day when the former resumed their first innings and remained in all day, scoring 619 runs with nine wickets down.
