A NEW SOUTH WALES LOAN. FROZEN MEAT TRADE. RELEASE OF WEIBERG, THE AYOCA GOLD ROBBER. (Received May 30, 9.50 p.m.) Sydney, May 30. Government is about to issue a new loan in London. The amount is fixed at £2,000,000, but in the event of the money market being considered favorable this will be increased to £3,000,000. Per Merchant Shipping and Underwriters’ Association :—■“ London, May 26.—Arrived, the ship Antares, from Auckland February 10th.” Melbourne, May 30. At a meeting of the Australian Frozen Meat Company, held to-day, it was announced that no dividend would be paid for the past half-year, and that unless stock-owners offered better support to the company it would be necessary to suspend operations. (Received May 31, 1.15 p.m.) May 31. Arrived, this morning, the Terawera, from the Bluff. Weiborg, the Avoca gold robber, has been released from gaol.
