WARDEN’S COURT.

Friday, April 20. [Before J. Giles, Esq., Warden.] APPLICATIONS. The applications of Solomon Pascoe and party, by their agent Mr Hannan, for deviation of water-race and to work ground occupied by race, at Ross Terrace, were withdrawn. Similar applications made by the same parties were objected to by James Holmes, through his agent Mr Seddon, and postponed. The application of W. S. Hanna and Robt. Anderson fora tunnel and special site were struck out. Solomon Pascoe applied for one acre of land situate at Dill man’s Flat, fronting Goad’s residence area, and which included the greater portion of residence area No. 32693. —Granted, surrendering 32693. Christian Harris and Walter Chisholm applied to construct a water-race in a creek about one and a-half miles north of Kapitea Creek, midway betweeen the Greenstone road and the sea beach.—Granted, subject to reduction whenever the whole quantity is not used. Joseph Claxton and party, by their agent Mr Hannan, applied for the cancellation of a condition on their certißcate for extended claim, the land being too poor to enable them to comply with the condition that “ eight men be employed at all times in the claim except when specially protected.”—Condition cancelled accordingly.
