A dingy was also found floating in the harbour with a man's and a woman's umbrella in it. A seaman of the schooner Saxon, named Charles Baker, is missing. Later. In reference to the drowning accident yesterday, it has been ascertained- that Susan Duncan, whose body has been recovered, was seen on the railway wharf after midnight on Saturday, in company with Charles Baker, a seaman of the schooner- Saxon. They left the wharf in a small dingy, leaving a woman named Elizabeth Deitrich to await her return. The dingy, which was not capsized, and two umbrellas, we recovered, but there was no sign of Baker. Both were under the influence of liquor. Yesterday a man named Inkster while intoxicated, threw a piece of bone and meat and his knife at his wife, striking her head. She became unconscious, went into a fit, and had to be taken to the hospital. It is believed that the brain is injured. March 13. The body of the missing man Baker was fouud near where the body of Susan Duncan was found.
