4. By Electric Telegraph—Copyright. BRITISH AND FOREIGN. THE INTERNATIONAL TRIBUNAL IN EGYPT. LOAN FOR NEW ZEALAND. DELANEY’S SENTENCE. GAMBETTA’S FUNERAL. ’ (Received January 4, 12.50 p.m.) London, January 3. It has transpired that the Egpptian Government has proposed to the Powers that the present mixed international tribunal in Egypt should only be prolonged for another year instead of for an indefinite time.

It is announced that a loan of £1,000,000 at four per cent, for the Government of New Zealand will be placed on the market on the 11th inst. The minimum is fixed at 98 J.
The man Delaney, who was arrested on the 12th November last for the attempted assassination of Judge Lawson in Dublin, has been found guilty of conspiring to murder and been sentenced to penal servitude for ten years. (Received January 4, 10 p.m.) Paris, January 3.
The date upon which the funeral of Gambetta will take place has been changed, and now it is announced that the funeral rites will be performed at Paris on the 6bh inst., and that interment will take place subsequently at Nice.
