The prospectus of the North Borneo Trading 1 Company was issued to-day. The nominal capital of the company is fixed at £2.000,000.

The Orient Company's Steamship Garonne, which left. Melbourne on March 3rd with 4000. sheep and a quantity of beef and Veal, has arrived. The meat has been examined and reported to be in prime condition. Paris, April 21. Parnell, who has been visiting his

A case of attempted murder and suicide occurred to-day in Russell street. A Hungarian named Silher shot and dangerously wounded a barmaid, aud subsequently killed himself. The crime is attributed to jealousy.
