TmißstiAt, A?r1l 20. [Before H. A. Stratford, Esq., Warden.} KUMARA APPLICATIONS. W. Nekton applied for a residence area on the Education Reserve. The application was granted. The application of E. Stevenson for a residence area on the Education Reserve was also granted. Charles Rhyming applied by his agent, Mr Hannan, for a double-area claim at Larrikins.— Granted. The application of David Moore and party, by their agent, Mr Hannan, for a double-area claim at Larrikins was granted. The applications of Botlrbe and party and Smart and party, by their agent, Mr Hannan, for double areas, the former at Patrick’s Terrace, and the latter at Larrikins, were granted. The application of Anderson and party, by their agent, Mr Barff, for a water-race at Kapitea Creek was ad l * jonrned to the 3rd of May, for approval of Dr. Giles, a portion of the creek being Within that Warden’s jurisdic* Hanna and party applied for the registration of a tunnel on the bank of the Tereraakau Kiver.—-The application was granted. The application of W, M‘Cotter fora double area at Larrikins was granted. . whole of the applications, twentysix in number, for the registration of tail-races to connect With the sludge* channel, were further adjourned to the 3rd of May. J. Conlan applied for a residence area at Larrikins.—The application was granted conditionally. The application of R. Morgaji for ft double area at Larrikins waS granted. - J. Woods applied by 'his agent, Mr Barff, for a residence area at Ro s Terrace. The application was opposed by Lee and party,*by their agent, Mr Hannan. Evidence was taken, and eventually the application was granted, subject to conditions which prohibited interference with Lee and party’s claim. The application of J. Cleary, by his agent, Mr Hannan, for protection was granted.
M. Paulsen applied for a double-area claim at the Break, Mr Hannan appeared for objectors. —The application was granted conditionally. ‘ At the request of Mr Hannan, the applications tor residence .areas in •Seddon street, were adjourned to the 17th of May. GREENSTONE APPLICATIONS.
S. Qellart applied by his agent, Ml? Hannan, for a residence area. The application was opposed by W. Rainbow, and refused, on the ground that the land applied for was auriferous.
Stanton and party applied by their agent, Mr Hannan, for the registration of a tunnel at Cape terrace. The ap* plication was granted* The Warden again re delivered the same old judgment in the case of Hem derson and party v* Rowley and party.
