[SPECIAL- TO KUMAR A TIMES.] THE WOODSTOCK RUSH. Hokitika, March 23. The Woodstock rush is looking well. The party reported as having bottomed a duffer yesterday have got gold to-day by driving south. This of course is nl f the better, as going so far to prove the lead in the direction of Loss, instead <>f west, where the ground is more confined. The. miners are verv confident and sanguine. Two other claims will probably bottom to-day. Later, 4.35 p.m. There is excellent news from Woodstock. Cnrniok and party obtained one ounce to the load. A claim four claims from the prospectois have bottomed on gold. O Longhlin and party (the supposed duffer claim) are getting six grains to the dish, driving south.
