KUMARA HOSPITAL.
A meeting of tne Kumara Hospital Commits was held in the Secretan'S Rooms last evening; preseut—Messrs Pearn (in the chair), Morgan, Dynan, Spyer, White, Hughes, and Wilson. The minutes of the previous mee'tinw were read and confirmed. The doctor and secretary Were authorised io procure the necessary mattress and bedstead for accident cases • and the House 'Committee wei-e instructed to inspect the beds and mattresses, and order any necessary alterations. The Warden's report fdr the month ending January 31st was read And re-; ceived. It showed that the number of patients admitted during the month was six, and the total treated eight. Two had been discharged cured, one had diedj whilst five remained Under treat rneut. Mr Hughes was appointed on the House Committee Vice Mr White. The following sums were handed iu—By Mr Morgan, £2 10s; Mr Wilson} £1 10s; Mr Hughes, 10s: the Secretary, £\. Accounts' to the' amount of £4B 17s 6d were passed for payment. This concluded the business of the meeting.
