BENT AND BACHELDER'S CHRISTY MINSTRELS.

These persons who are desirous of hearing the nearest approach to the original Christy Minstrels which can be heard here should not fail to go and visit Bent and BacHelder's revised and reorganised company. An excellent programme was provided last eveuing at the Theatre Royal, and, notwithstanding the counter attractions of the Pirates of Penzance Company at the Adelphi and the boisterous weather, a goodly number of persons went to hear the singing of these gifted vocalists. And they were not disappointed ; the performance was at once varied and entertaining, and some of the solos and concerted pieces were gems of harmony, notably so in the first part, " A Flower from my Angel Mother's Grave," by Mr C. S. Fredericks ; " Little Bright Eyes," by Mr Ball • and " Pretty Blue Eyes" by Mr Beaumont Read. Miss Amy Rowe fairly astonished the audience with her phenomenal voice, which justly entitles her to the title of "double vocalist." A new sketch of Mr Bent's, entitled " Wanted a Nurse," was very amusing. The burlesque on one of Balfe'a well-known operas, "The Bohemian Girl," brought the performance to a close. The company give another entertainment this evening.
