Sydney, August 22. Seven fresh cases of small-pox have ■been reported to the Board of Health. The sufferers are a child named Ryder, at Waterloo, whose case has since proved fatal; a man named Emerson, and a boy named Burford, residing in Sussex street; a man named M'Callum, residing in Macquarrie; a man named Oxenham, of Redfern ; a man named Johnston, of Moor Park; and a man named Fitzpatrick. The last named called at an infirmary for medical advice, when it was discovered that he was suffering from small-pox. He and all the other sufferers have been removed to the quarantine station, and their various residences have been isolated.
