BRITISH AND FOREIGN. London, July 19. The Australian and New Zealand mails, via Suez ami Brindisi, which luft Melbourne on the 7th of June, were delivered here to-day.
July 20. In the House of Commons last night, the Irish Land Billl was further consideied in Committee, when the remaining clauses to the last were duly passed. A few clauses, which have been postponed during the progress of the Bill in Committee will now be brought up for final consideration.
LATEST AUSTRALIAN NEWS
Sydney, July 20. No fresh cases of small-pox have occurred in the city since the 15th inst. The vessels comprising the detached squadron, except the Bacchante, leave ou Saturday, for Auckland. July 21. A woman and a child among those at the quarantine station, who are isolated from the small-pox patients, have been attacked with the disease iu a mild form.
Melbourne, July 20. Arrived The Union Company's steamship Te Anaii, from Blufl- this morning.
