Wellington, July 20, As telegraphed yesterday, Government made Mr Sheehan's motion a vote of no-confideiice. Mr Sheeh:in, under advice of the Oppsition, declined the challenge; it being understood that the corner party, under Mr Ormond, would challenge the Government proposals. The Opposition will vote for Mr Ormond's amendment. Although parties are equal, it is anticipated there will be a small majority against the Government. In either case, parties being so evenly divided, that means an early appeal to the country. July 21. The no-confidence debate closes tomorrow. Mr Wakefield made a powerful speed).
