[new ZEALAND PRESS ASSOCIATION.] Wellington, July 15. A dead body, believed to be that of a sailor, has been washed ashore at Palliser Bay. As this is the spot where some wreckage belonging to the missing schooner Dido was thrown up, it is thought that he was one of her crew. Auckland, July 14. The Sybil, from Tahiti, reports that the American war ship Saconama had left Taptee to inquire into the murder of an American named Perth, at Raiti. There is no sign of J;he Albion. It being reported she had gone to Hotnihi this morning, the Union Company’s agent chartered a steamer to take thirty Sydney passengers for the Penguin ami luggage on board.
