WARDEN’S COURT.
Monday, June 6. [Before H. A. Sti’atford, Esq., R.M.] The Court opened at 8 p.m.
Borlase and party applied for a doable area. The application was granted.
An application of Jones and party was also granted. The Court then adjourned.
Tuesday, June 7. The Court opened at 9 a.m. The applications of Kennedy and party fot an extended claim, James Molloy for a dam, Phillips and party to have the banks of the Greenstone Creek defined within their claimj Ross and party for a double area, and M'Donald and party for protection, were all struck out, there being no appearance in either case. The application ol John Peters for a tailings site, was adjourned to the next sitting of the Court. John Henderson’s application for a residence area was struck out, there being no appearance on the part of the applicant. Michael Flanagan applied for a residence area.—Mr Hannan appeared for the applicant.—Granted subject to conditions. An application of Reid and party for a double area was granted. An application of Anderson and Thorman for a double area was withdrawn, the notices not having been posted. J. Skipper applied for protection for his share in a claim at Larrikin’s.—Mr Barff appeared for the applicant.— The protection was granted. An application of Mr Seddon for a tail-race, in which Mr Hannan appeared for the applicant, was adjourned to the 21st inst, Sellars and party’s application for an extended claim, and Reynolds and party for a stone tunnel, were also adjourned to the 21st inst.
