[NEW ZEALAND PRESS ASSOCIATION.] Christchurch, May 21. Frederick Saxton, a shunter at the Christchurch railway station, fell down in a fit this afternoon, and was removed to the Hospital. He died on arrival there. The cause is not yet known. Wellington, May 22. For some days past the Wellington police have taken active steps with a view to the identification of the two men Fredk. Seymour, alias William Smith, and James Grant, alias T. Harnett, who committed several highway robberies in the neighborhood of Edinburgh. Seymour shot himself dead hefore being arrested, but Grant was captured. It was then understood that both men had come from New Zealand, and photographs of these desperadoes were sent here to be identified. The police have been successful in their efforts as to identification, one of the men being recognised as that of third officer of the barque Femglen, which was here in 1879; and the other to be a seaman of the same vessel. Auckland, May 21. Charles Sutherland, landlord of the Queen's Ferry Hotel, died suddenly from congestion of the brain, avising from an accidental fall while riding near the Queen's Redoubt.
