BRITISH AN© FOREIGN. London, May 14. Several further arrests have been made in Ireland under the Coercion Act. News of the treaty signed between France and the Bey of Tunis has caused considerable astonishment throughout Europe. St. Petersburg, May 13. The members of the Ministry have tendered their resignations to the Czar. This action is supposed to be in conse* quence of His Majesty's recent proclamation as to the future Imperial policy, Athens, May 14. Negotiations continue between the Greek and Turkish Governments regarding the proposed transfer of territory in Thessaly and Epirus to Greece. The Porte now attaches certain conditions to the surrender, and their discussion delays the conclusion of a formal convention between the two Governments. Notwithstanding the understanding arrived at last month between Turkey and Greece on the frontier question; the Porte continues to despatch bodies of Turkish troops to the district in Thessaly which it was arranged should form part of the extended Greek frontier. This action on the part of Turkey
causes much uneasiuess throughout Greece, and the sincerity of the Porte's undertaking is generally mistrusted.
