[NEW ZEALAND PRESS ASSOCIATION.] Wyndham, May 13. Six bodies were recovered to-day. That of John Barry was recognised by a pocket-book, containing a bank draft for £BO. One body having on the remains of a blue serge pair of trousers and vest, with buttons of the Union Steam Shipping Company, an open face gold watch, and a gold locket with two hands clasped, underneath the words “ Yours for ever,” is supposed to be that of the chief engineer, Munro ; also, the bodies of W. R. Wilson and Roderick Walsh, identified by papers found upon them. No papers were on either of the other two bodies, or anything which could lead to their identification. Up to the present time sixty-four bodies have been recovered. The friends of the late Captain Garrard intend to have the body exhumed and taken to Christchurch for burial. Should the body of Mr Ramsay be recovered it will also be removed by his friends. The roads here are cutting up very rapidly, making the journey to and from the beach in the same day a work of great difficulty.
