BRITISH AND FOREIGN. London, May 12. Bradlaugh has written a letter to the Speaker of the House of Commons, protesting. against his expulsion, and declaring the same is illegal. Rawson has given notice in the House of Commons of a motion setting forth that the action of the Speaker in forbidding Bradlaugh’s presence within the precincts of Parliament is illegal. Paris, May 13. The latest telegrams to hand report that the French troops are now only a few miles distant from the City of Tunis.
